A new musical project by Michael Cretu
Live From The TAAW Broadcast Tower
- I have just received the promo copy of the new Michael Cretu produced Andru Donalds single
All Out Of Love and guess what......All of the remixes are done by TAAW - alias Cretu/Gad.
The official listed producer of course is Michael Cretu and the remixes are labeled
Remixes by T.A.A.W. The artist is of course Andru Donalds and also it is listed
as Performed and engineered by Michael Cretu & Jens Gad. The sound is ...great, and the
production excellent!!
The Radio edit is a ballad with the magic Cretu keyboards and orchestral feel to it. Donalds has a
great voice and you can't help thinking how would a track like Why sound with him singing!!
He has a great range to his vocals. This could be a big hit!!
The dance version is a very disco beat approach from the 80's, and has a rapid feel to it.
This was the first track to be remixed by Cretu/Gad and you could say it has the TAAW sound.....very 80's
feel to it. The other 2 remixes are Ambient Versions.
3/19/99
- Virgin announced that it has not ruled out more albums from TAAW. Although no firm plans
have been discussed by either Michael or his management with the record company, Virgin still
feels that the success of the first album could lead to more in the future.
1/30/99
- Virgin announced that it will now release the new single
Crocketts Theme on July 13th and not
the 6th as they originally planned. The track listing is the same and
I should have some samples of this very soon.

GENERAL INFORMATION
- TAAW at the movies - Crockett's Theme the new single due for May
release is being used in a trailer for a future release
called "A Night At The Roxbury". This film is based on a popular
Saturday Night Live TV show skit involving two annoying guys who bob
thier heads to Haddaway's "What is Love" song and drive women away while
thinking they are total studs. The sample used is the
very beginning, just before the electric guitar begins.
The film, of course, looks stupid, however TAAW fits perfectly with the
dance club atmosphere in which the film takes place.
